Dr Keshav Das (Dentist)
Dr Keshav Das is a passionate dentist with extensive experience in advanced general dentistry including cosmetic procedures, implant surgery and grafting, extractions and minor oral surgery.
Das has over 40 years of experience in dentistry, including founding Divine Smiles at Nundah in Brisbane. In 2003 he graduated from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, Sydney. Prior to this, Das practised in India, where he graduated with a Masters in Endodontics and Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Bombay, He also had a stint in the Royal New Zealand Air Force as a Dental Officer
Das has also done a Master of Science in Implant Dentistry from Goethe University in Germany. He has extensive experience in Implant Dentistry dating back to 1994, Bone Grafting and management of complications related to Implant Dentistry .Das plays badminton, is a recreational shooter, avid reader, comic book collector and lover of train travel, cricket and tennis. Das’s proudest moment is the day he married his wife Dr Chitra, who is also a dentist (now retired). His daughter is an aerospace engineer for NASA and his son is a Specialist Surgeon in Melbourne.
Dr Maeve Flanagan (Dentist)
Dr Maeve Flanagan graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Sciences from The University of Manchester in 2017. She has practised in the UK for 6 years and recently relocated to Brisbane. Maeve enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is keenly interested in minimally invasive, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry.
Additionally, Dr Maeve has completed a year-long aesthetic and restorative cosmetic dentistry course with Dr Chris Orr in London. In private practice in the UK, Maeve has provided various treatments, including short-term orthodontics, cosmetic solutions, and ceramic and composite restorations to improve smiles.
She is passionate about delivering high-quality dental care while ensuring patients feel comfortable during appointments. Many of her patients have described her as ‘the gentle dentist.’
Beyond dentistry, Maeve is keen to explore Australia and travel around the country, experiencing a new culture. In addition, she enjoys going to the gym and eating out in Brisbane’s many fabulous restaurants.
Margot Kelly-Basford, Clinical Co-ordinator
Margot joins the Melbourne St Dental Studio team with nearly 20 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, holding a Certificate III in Dental Assisting as well as a Certificate IV in Dental Radiography. In addition, Margot has completed volunteer work in West Timor working to provide dental care in remote villages to people in desperate need.
At our practice, Margot loves the ability to interact with new patients every single day while helping them to build trust in our team as we craft a beautiful smile.
Margot has a special interest in working with patients dealing with TMJ trouble as well as orthodontic patients. She’s currently studying to receive a Diploma of Remedial Massage and will specialize in the treatment of TMJ. As she puts it, she’s always learning something new every day.
Outside of the practice, Margot enjoys live music and cuddling her cat.
Hasan Konya – Systems Engineer
Hasan joins us as Front Office Coordinator with a background in Materials Engineering. Hasan has always been interested in medicine and enjoys reading about health and well-being. He likes dentistry because it can provide immediate health improvements as well as cosmetic benefits and is most fulfilled seeing patients leave with a smile.
“In our studio, the best part of my role is to listen to our patients and understand what is happening in their lives. It can be quite inspiring when I hear their stories and I also get to discover so many interesting things. “
Outside of the practice, Hasan enjoys reading books, solving mind puzzles, dancing and making new friends.
